A free airport bus connects the parking lots with the terminals with services running daily every 15 minutes between the hours of 3.30 am and 1.30 am. The bus stops for these shuttles are located in front of the parking lots as well as at Terminal 1 on platform 9 and on platform 11 at Terminal 2.

Disabled motorist do not have to pay for their long and short-term parking at Helsinki Airport. Their designated parking spaces are always located near escalators and exits. Car parks P2, P3 and P5 provide disabled car parking spaces on all levels. Disabled motorists will find short-term parking is available at the parking lots opposite Terminal 2, namely in the ground floor parking facilities at Terminal 2 and at the very end of Terminal 1. Lomaparkki, or parking for holidaymakers, provides the cheapest option for long and short-term parking at Helsinki Airport. One week’s parking starts at EUR 39.00 in the airport’s open air parking spaces, perfect for parking for up to a couple of weeks at the most. At P4’s open air car park one week’s parking costs EUR 39.00, while at P5 the same week would cost EUR 65.00 and at P3 motorists could park for EUR 57.00 in indoor parking facilities instead.
Motorists requiring two-week parking will be able to find spaces at parking lot P4, where they will be charged EUR 60.00 for outdoor parking, while P5 car park will charge EUR 100.00 for two weeks. At parking lot P3 motorists pay EUR 85.00 for two weeks’ parking in indoor facilities, which are more secure and protect the vehicle from Finland’s harsh climate in winter.
Car parks P1 and P2 are also suitable for holidaymakers and are located opposite Terminal 2. It is not possible to pay via credit card for parking, but motorists will receive a parking slip upon entering the parking lots. The parking slip must be retained, as it is needed for making the payment at the service centre, which is located in the corridor between the two terminals. It is also used to make payments at the yellow payment machines, which are dotted around the car parking lots.
Upon arrival at the airport, motorists can check the parking space status on an electronic display board located at the access road. The ST1 service station, which is open 24 hours daily, sells not just petrol but also last minute emergencies like road maps and snacks.
For picking up and dropping off motorists are permitted to stop their vehicle in the Pikaparkki area, which is located just outside the terminals.
